This kit is a specialized and essential toolset designed for safely compressing automotive coil springs during the disassembly and assembly of strut and shock absorber units. It enables technicians to remove and reinstall strut components without risk from the high tension stored in suspension springs.

Key Features & Function

• Primary Function:
  The tool securely compresses the suspension coil spring, allowing safe removal of the strut’s top nut and access to internal components such as the shock absorber, spring, bearing, or top mount.

• Compression Mechanism (Left Image):

  • The system uses two heavy-duty threaded compressor shafts, each fitted with a pair of forged steel hooks.

  • The upper and lower hooks latch firmly onto the spring coils.

  • As the nuts on the threaded rods are tightened, the hooks move closer together, safely compressing the spring.

  • The setup shown demonstrates proper positioning on the strut assembly for safe and controlled compression.

Kit Components & Storage (Right Image)

• Compressor Rods (2 Pieces):
  Two long, high-strength threaded shafts with pre-mounted, adjustable heavy-duty hooks designed to grip a wide range of coil spring diameters and shapes.

• Wrench / Drive Assist Tool:
  A curved drive bar (or yoke-style wrench) included to assist in turning the compression nuts with better leverage and control.

• Additional Accessories:
  May include interchangeable hook sets or adapter configurations depending on spring type (straight, tapered, or conical), though the primary hooks are shown installed in the image.

• Durable Storage Case:
